It's Stevie rambling at her best...or worst....whichever way you want to look at it.
Thank u for sharing that with me. I hope they DO NOT remake that song. She sounds coked up or drunk. She's just spouting off anything. It's not a song, just rambling.

I hope Lindsey went into the studio to work with Stevie on a fabulous new song, but if it's an old demo, I would love to hear them to do "Without You".

I will never understand anyone who ever say this. Anyone who says this is "rambling" apparently does not know the story of Mabel. The quality is poor, and perhaps she was coked up, but this song is far from a drunk, coked up babble. Mabel Normand was a real actress with a tragic life. This song speaks directly to the story of Mabel, but also illustrates the parallels to Stevie's life, making Mabel another personality of Stevie, like Lily and Sara. I feel this is a heartbreaking song and one that is severely underrated. I think it could be brilliant if redone today.

I'd love that or "You Won't Forget Me".

Exactly. I don't think we can go by any of these numbers Stevie or Dave have given in interviews. Stevie can't even get simple years right. Dave is no better. 7 songs cowriten with Dave, for all we know Italian Summer is included in that bunch, maybe the Twilight song is The Ghosts Are Gone, maybe its in your Dreams. Maybe a song Stevie wrote with Mike Cambell was also written with Dave. We can't make any assumptions until we see the final tracklist with writing credits next to them.

I def think If You Were My Love ... Stevie seems to rerecord that with every record she makes and the 4th one ... i would LOVE Cecelia though I would give my right eye if she added Prettiest Girl in the World ooooooooooooooooooooh *swoon*
Time will tell...Didn't Dave say the actual recording was done fairly quickly...Like Wild Heart in 12 days...I hope these songs haven't been "Produced" to death with an overly slick sound...A few kind of basic sounding "Early days" Stevie might be nice...

It doesn't sound like a song. I'm glad she likes Mabel Normand. Why doesn't she write a song about Francis Farmer, while she is at? I mean if she could write a song about Mabel that sounded like Bette Davis Eyes, I would be sold. She's belting anything about Mabel.

The album sounds great. The sound is very hip and "now" but earthy/organic. It is NOT slick. I even thought it sounded kind of alternative. The single sounds a like a different mix than what I heard on the disk a month ago but they often go in and mix singles differently.

Are there different singles planned then Secret Love? Nobody even mentioned that song as their favorite. It's suspicious. Seems like just a single to get people to preorder. I really like it though.

When I was given the disk to listen to, In Your Dreams was thought to be the first single.

Maybe WB wants to wait until closer to the album release, and that may very well be the next single.

OK I just saw in the other thread you're just going from a disk with no song titles. Can you tell me if there are any songs "nearly at", "at" or "above" Fall From Graces level of rocking.
