Not totally dumb,but funny:

One day my parents were watching the Dance w/ me..and after ISA,when Chris goes "Lindsey Buckingham!"..my dad TOTALLY thought she was saying "Give him a f**king hand" lol...

LOL...that is SO funny!!! You know..that same line...a friend of mine and I were in my car listening to the Dance and after that line she was like, "Who's your Boogy-man? What the hell does that mean?" lol...I died laughing....

I make it a point never to watch FM videos with the folks anymore. They just don't get the experience.
I once watched Mirage concert with my mom years ago, & as the band lets loose at an instrumental part near the end of a song ---I'm trying to remember if it's The Chain, SOTM, or EOTW --- Stevie does a spin & her skirt flies up gracefully. My mother frowns and says, "You can see the tops of her panty hose." I rewound, & sure enough, there they were on her uppermost thighs. I still look for them when I watch this concert.

this exact stupid conversation has been held at least 20 times, the last time was just yesterday, when i happened to catch the chris isaak show featuring stevie at my parents' place. it's becoming really boring with him.

a friend and i were listening to GYOW.. he was like, "I love this song!!" ..so we start discussing the song. A few moments later:

"that's a BOY singing?"
me: "yes."
"he must be really gay."
me: "what's that supposed to mean?"
"he sings like a f-ing GIRL!"

idiot.

I told my cousin who is around 40 that I wanted to go see Fleetwood Mac in Atlantic City in May. He said "oh, is HE coming to that area again in the fall?"

well, when I was first getting into them a lot in 98 I read up on them and for th elongest time I thought Lindsey was Stevie and Stevie was Lindsey Just because of the names

oh, also, when I heard Little lies again in 98 I thought that the "tell me lies" part stevie did was done with a robot voice like Roger Troutman used to do, I didn't know that was actually her singing naturally
