Lizard People... OM MY GAWD!

[Johnny Stew]

Here, I just typed these out.
I think they're correct.

Lizard People
(written by Mick Fleetwood & Peter Bardens)

(Plain, sore, aching feet... plain, sore, aching feet...
Plain, sore, aching feet... plain, sore, aching feet....)

Somewhere where dream meets reality,
In the doldrums of your mind,
We find a grey-green ambience.
Lizard becomes man, and vice versa.
Very strange, but strangely logical.

The sheriff, the men with red necks, the posse...
Shotguns at the ready...
Creep and stumble thru the swamps and vegetation.
Flashlights search the undergrowth for signs of visitation,
But Lizard People have no need to fear...
They are above, beyond, and totally elsewhere...
(We are the Lizard People)
Caught in the fifth dimension.

No matter how long you've suffered...
Be it three months or thirty years...
No matter what your problems are...
Corns, callouses, pain in the balls... of your feet,
Burning nerve endings, painful ankles, old injuries, headaches,
Or just plain, sore, aching feet... sore, aching feet...

(Plain, sore, aching feet... plain, sore, aching feet....)

Somewhere...
(We are the Lizard people)
Where dream meets reality,
They are above... beyond... totally elsewhere.
Lizard becomes man, and vice versa.
You may say, "very strange." But I say, "strangely logical."

Without my net... without my men... without my shotguns...
They are above... beyond... totally elsewhere.

There were reports... rumours... sightings... speculation...
But no reward.

I search for signs of visitation... not vegetation....

(We are the Lizard People.)
