I see it as more of acknowledging her work in the band and the contributions that she made...maybe they could give a funny story about Christine...or something.

Peter, Jeremy, Danny, Bob Welch and everyone don't get a little talk, though

True, but they weren't in the band for 27 years and contribute to the band multiple top 10 hits.

Does Lindsey still perform "Oh Well" at FM concerts? That would be a good time for him and Mick to talk abit about FM's origins as a blues band.

Fleetwood Mac really should do at least 1 "Pre-Rumours" era song, or how about a blues medley!
Though, I suppose that conversion would be more fitting in the Pre-Rumours forum. ![]() |

) and maybe even throw in a few good Bob Welch tunes, like Hypnotized and Emerald Eyes (yeah, I discovered Mystery to Me for the first time recently, and I loved it) |

No, it wasn't. He played it on the Tusk tour. However, when I heard that they were doing SYLM for the 2009 tour, I thought we were going to have to sit through that awful banjo rendition. I like that Lindsey brought the track back to its original version. Even if it was toned down a bit (ie, different vocals, lighter drumming etc), the guitar part was still rockin. I can't say that I like Stevie or Lindsey doing Christine's songs, but I have to say, SYLM came across nicely.

It's not a question of whether Lindsey could sing Christine's songs, but rather a question of "Why should he?" I have absolutely no interest in hearing Lindsey or Stevie "covering" Christine's songs in concert. If I ever get a chance to attend another show, I'd rather hear new songs, or songs they have never/rarely done.
Many fans (including myself), have been critical of the band for being stuck in the past, especially stagnent set lists. Adding Christine songs the mix just drives that point home. Granted, I liked that Lindsey gives a nod to the past blues-era with 'Oh Well." So in that vein, one Christine song would be acceptable. I just wish it wasn't such an obvious choice, i.e. Say You Love Me or Don't Stop. A recasted deep album track would be more tasteful, and offer less critiicism /comparision to the original version.

I'm not a die hard Chris fan, so I would sooner see Lindsey and Stevie do more of their own stuff rather than throw more old songs into the mix
![]() Though I must say I absolutely loved what they did with SYLM on Unleashed. Maybe it was just that hand gesture spidery-fingered thing Lindsey did that left me in a giggling mess at his feet but it was a great treatment, imo.I'll give my first born child to anyone who can provide a GIF of same, by the way |

Though I wouldn't mind them opening up the show with Green Manalishi. The Chain needs to be retired. |
