I have enjoyed reading everyone's post for the last few days-I am new to this board but a SN/FM fan since '77. I just watched Leno and couldn't believe my eyes. She definitely needs HELP-what would possess her to wear this once-let alone twice! I hope she is not planning on wearing this for the whole tour!
I thought they atleast sounded much better tonight-Stevie seemed alittle more interested-but i think they should have chosen a different song-atleast it wasn't GYOW!

Lindsey proved his hotness to me tonight!!! I find him sexy when he plays usually but tonight I saw him to be more gorgeous than ever before.

However, my girl there, is wearing the same outfit as last night. OK so I wasn't complaining about her outfit last night, YES I like the cardigan, how can that be. BUT to wear the same outfit and same hairstyle and same makeup two shows in a row, I am surprised. Is this a prediction for the tour? Hmmm

She looks withdrawn you say? Yeah, I agree but she sounds amazing. I am soo proud of her voice. Maybe she is sad or just plain tired. I'll just let that slide.

I cant believe I forgot to tape it. I had it all ready, all I had to do was press record but I got so excited and I was on the phone while I watched it so I didn't get the full affect and since I didn't tape it I cannot play it back. Gosh darn!

I posted this on the other thread too, but I don't think this is true because at the end of the show, Sandra Bullock and the army chef guy came over to greet them, and they were only here tonight, right?

Oh, wait, nevermind I get what your saying. Maybe that is possible. Let's hope so at least. But still, she could have planned ahead!

Does that make sence???
Yes it does, I'm sorry it's late and I'm exhausted. I was just having a dumb moment. I get what your saying now though.

I thought she sounded great, and she & Lindsey did smile at each other.
I'm baffled by the repeat in clothes. I'd love to think that this was a spiritual epiphany she had after 9/11 - hey, I'm 54, the look shouldn't eclipse the art, my music should speak for itself - but the fact is that this wardrobe stagnation has gone on since 1997. I wonder if this isn't her way of saying again that she's not a paper doll, that she remembers how unkind the press & public were about her weight less than 10 years ago, so she's just given up on trying to please people by dressing any way other than what's comfortable.
But the fact is, the clothes, the singing, the dancing onstage --- these things used to be fun for her. I just don't see her having fun up there like she used to. How ridiculous to sing a song ABOUT dancing and stand there like a zombie the whole time. Maybe this song isn't high-voltage enough to throw in a high kick, but maybe do the Tusk Angel Dance for the sheer joy of it.

Peacekeeper was taped on Weds and I know someone who was at the taping for SYW on Thursday.

I can't imagine why she would wear the same thing both nights. The outfit certainly didn't seem to warrant a first night, let alone an encore appearance.

I am a huge Stevie fan and I don't think anyone would even be talking about this if she wore something that looked like "Stevie Nicks". I hope this isn't "ONE OF" or "THE ONLY" dress she plans to wear for the tour, we know how she gets attatched to ONE dress and wears it to death At this point I'm hoping she brings back one of the OLD black dresses we wished she would retire... oh, those were the days

I feel guilty lately concentrating so much on Stevie's apperance. But when you think about it, appearance is a HUGE part of live performance, and it is very important, so I guess we're not that shallow... just concerned.

I just don't understand why she looked so frumpy last night. Check out the hi-res photo at the top of the nicksfix. I'm pretty sure it's very recent, and she looks absolutely stunning! (Even though she's wearing the damn dress and not smiling.) But she looks fantastic! Last night she didn't even look close to that good. Whoever said she looked like a grandma was right! How can she get it so right there, and so wrong on a national television appearance?!

I only saw the performance last night and I thought they did Say You Will very well, the song has a natural energy. And there was supportive chemistry between Stevie and Lindsey.

Yes, it was a definite faux pas to wear the same exact outfit two nights in a row on national television. But even though we as hardcore fans find the black dress tiresome..the black flowing dress does define her and in turn defines FM, and this reaches the average fan. (so don't feel too guilty SmthingDreamr) However, there is more than one black dress!!! (what about the gold tapestry front black dress??)

Other than that, I thought Stevie looked fine for her age, her skin looks great, her hair was pretty fashionable and her voice is strong.

Lindsey looks great but then men always age better, did you see the hug Sandra gave him and Mick???

btw, Stevie may be held to the same fashion standard required by a movie star but did you see Sandra's outfit?? She looked terrible, both hair and wardrobe and she has a stylist!! Even I know being in my mid-thirties, there are some young clothes I can no longer wear...

I think I caught a few flies in my mouth, considering the length of time my jaw was on the floor after realizing she was wearing the same DAMN thing!!

Totally inexcusable - jeez, don't get me started...never mind, too late!

Is Kimberly Brakely (Stevie's long-time wardrobe assistant) on Klonopin now? I mean, I will NEVER understand why Stevie and her entourage would allow her to wear the same thing on national TV 2 nights in a row! Makes me wonder if they DO read the Ledge and someone actually said, "Oh, screw those people, I think you should wear the same thing, just to piss them off."

I keep trying to raise my spirits and remind myself that it's about the music. But man, this whole Year of the Mac thing has really become disenchanting for me, unfortunately.

I officially bestow upon this woman the title of having the World's Easiest Job!

"Let's see, Stevie, what will we put you in tonight? The black dress, the black dress, or the black dress..."

"Well, I think we'll go with the black dress."

I just can't even think of anything to say............

And those of you who know me know that is very unusual.

Did anyone tape the performances that would be willing to trade for a CD or something? I have 3 Stevie TISL shows I taped myself (as in recorded & held the mic) and Id love to trade, Irvine Meadows, Last night of tour in LA and the TISL AH-I benefit 12/6/01.

How was the performance?
