Really? I won't deny he was extremely youthful looking during the Dance period. I honestly thought he was like a decade younger than his bandmates, even Stevie, when I first saw the DVD (knowing nothing about their individual ages). However...wasn't he like a line in the Tusk days compared to the Dance, which most have concluded is probably his "heaviest" period- though for LB that's like normal sized for other men. it's interesting to mix those two times up.

He was a skinny nothing in Tusk era and he needed to be fed a few burgers to get a little meat on his bones, but he was a hot skinny nothing. I never noticed his "heaviness" during the Dance, but maybe the fact hat his hair was still dark and that he was wearing all black was reminicent of the Tusk suit.

Do you any of you have trouble with telling Go Insane from Tango in the Night?

I see where you're getting at. I personally can tell those two eras apart but I do agree his style at both times was very suave. And his hair was perfect. I really don't think he was necessarily "heavy" in that period, just more solid for him. LB's not really the type of man who can look large in the rotund sense. He's simply a thin man and that's the bottom line.

Nope. I prefer his TITN look to GI. His hair was far too loud for my taste in the latter. I could imagine sitting down to an intimate meal and instead of looking into his eyes I'd be staring at his hair. Mood killer. But people like it and I think that's fantastic. For them.

Wow, I don't think he was heavy by a measurement standard, if you just looked at his dimensions, during The Dance, he did seem bloated and fleshy to me and I didn't really like the look at all. It was almost like water weight.

But even though the tour was short, by the end of it, he had lost quite a bit of weight and looked good.

Yeah, it was just in his face. I always thought it was more a look like you get from some Rx meds. Maybe he was ( or had been ) depressed

I thought he looked better with the extra weight. He always looks like he needs a sandwich these days. To each her own!

He did Summerfest in Milwaukee, which was outside. It was his final show for the Under the Skin Tour. The crowds were nuts!
