I understand the Saturday Night Fever thing, actually, BUT that's a part of the 70's (and i won't comment the Ketchup thing ).
You're not logical,anyway. You say that Lindsey's white shirt on the SYW tour suited him better than the dark leather jacket. Clearly, light colors suit him better. (equation again : Lindsey, including eyes, beard and fro + White clothes = handsome).

Stevie once said that dark colors suit blondes better, then again, logically, dark colors are good on dark haired people. Case Made.
