Well, my house inspection went really well, all things considered. Only a few small things to fix before the inspector comes back tomorrow, and then we can (hopefully) move in.

I look forward to this, because I am tired of hanging out of windows as I scrape 50 year old paint off of the sashes outside and reapply new paint with naught but my one foot hooked around the ledge to support me.

Actually, I don't mind that part so much.

The part I mind is where Boy What Carries Things bursts into the room of wherever I am doing this and shouts, "OMG ANNIE WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU ARE GOING TO FALL AND BREAK YOUR ASS IN HALF AND DIE AND WHAT WILL I TELL YOUR CHILDREN WON'T SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN OMG."

Look, if you're worried about me falling, don't pop 'round corners unexpectedly and scream.

I'm just sayin.'
