Lucid Dreaming

I have had one lucid dream in my entire life and it took weeks of 'practicing' to achieve it. Having messed up my sleep schedule for about 3 weeks to do so, I'll not be doing it again any time soon.

I dream almost every night and sometimes it's so real I wake up and think that that's the dream. I've had dreams where I've woken up still able to feel textures in my hands throughout that whole day which is bizarre! Sometimes my dreams make sense and relate to what I've been talking about during the day and sometimes they're things like swimming through my school? The subject really fascinates me though
