I think another time you could see his arms is in a vid of Second Hand News from 1978. Sure, he probably stole one of Stevie's shirts, but it's a good performance.

Really, I think it had to do with the spinal tap (which Carol Ann harris described-oh-so-accurately in her book), so that does take strength.
