Yeah, Harrah's shows, to my knowledge, are outside. I saw Don Henley in South Lake Tahoe once and it was outside. Pretty sure it was Harrah's-- wherever it was, it was definitely the nicest "venue" around.

I also saw Stevie there in Tahoe several years ago and it was a outside venue, but it must not of been Harveys as they claim this is her 1st visit. Will check tic. stub tonight after work.

Was testing the waters for rooms in Tahoe @ Harvey's they want $249.10 +tx
(275.00) for that Friday night of Stevie's show. The following Friday is going for #119.00 I think....WTF? They base there pricing as to what "star" is playing? Checked Obritz.com they were offering rms. that night $269.00.... Hopefully she'll come to No.Cal/So.Cal. If not could always get a rm. in Sacramento that Friday night. About 1 1-2 drive to Tahoe.

My mom's a gambler, so I had her make a call. She got Thursday and Friday night at Harvey's comped. She's got freeplay so she's coming with me. I'm going to play the game and try to get a ticket last minute.

Well, I don't have to worry about tickets. Harrahs just sent my Mom an offer for 2 free VIP tickets (whatever that means) so everything is comped Yay Mom!! Don't know where the seats are located yet, but I'll let you guys know.

Does anyone have any idea how long the drive is including gasoline/food stops? Is the road from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe dangerous?

I am seriously thinking of going.

It's about an hour and a half drive, and you'll be on major interstates the whole way. I'm not sure what you mean by dangerous.

Nope! I played the waiting game too but got nervous and just bought mine, row 24. Ugh. Waiting sucks, wish I had more patience. Too much money to spend being so far back!
