well, i can officially say that i am not excited about this project. I can't stand Dave Stewart, and the idea of a Stevie/Dave album makes me sick. I may listen to the album online, but i won't buy it...i hate to see Stevie use another artist as a crutch. She is so much better than Dave and she knows it.

Fine, but don't bring the rest of us down with you. I find it ridiculous how people complain about Stevie not releasing new music in almost a decade, and when she is about to, people complain about her collaborators. I also find it interesting that you have not heard one completed song from this album, yet you have already made the decision not to buy it. Pretty rash, don't you think??

Damm you must not be a very big fan of Stevie's. Who gives a *#&^% who she makes the album with! Geeeez some fans you just cant please at all!!! Sorry for the vent guys! I'm grateful, thankful and appreciate her giving us something new.

goodness gracious! I most certainly am! I'm different though, because i'm the youngest here. I HAVE NOT been complaining about no new music. I am incredibly thankful she is putting new stuff out. Because i'm young, i've considered any new download, rare album, or bootleg "new" to me. I guess i've just felt as though Stevie can do better. Sorry if i've offended anyone: just voicing my opinion as has everybody else...

Hope i'm not 'bringing anybody down' - that would be a person's own decision...and i guess i can't afford to buy the album yet cause i'm not sure if i got my summer job yet...sorry again

You're absolutely entitled to your opinion about Dave, and about Stevie's collaboration with him, and about anything else, but i think the general opinion or idea about Dave is that he's so below Stevie that them working together is a waste of time, or it's just really confused people. But I, like others who are just as excited about this album feel that he's fostered her creativity like no one else has in the last decade, and whether it's a duets album, or a straight-up solo album, it's all exciting and definitely not the norm for Stevie.

Any time It really irks me when people are attacked for their opinions. So you don't want to buy it, that's cool, I probably won't either and I AM a Eurythmics fan. Those two should look at this and that Country Rumours thread before taking stabs. And for the record, I doubt us two not buying it will greatly affect the sales figures, hey?

Good for them both. She definitely needed a collaborator. Sick of the same crap. He is very accomplished. Every writer needs to be brought out of their box and maybe he will do that for her. I'm more excited that it is a big collaboration, because maybe we will get something worthwhile.
