Speaking of 'I Can't Wait'.... Stevie states, in the Crystal Visions liner notes "This is one of my favorite songs - one that I always have and always will love."

So it's very perplexing why hasn't she performed it concert in more than twenty years. Apparently, in Stevie's mind, you leave behind the things you love!

I was just reading those the other day, so I decided to watch the DVD commentary. She says that they tried doing it, and it was such a hard song to do live that it didn't work out.

Yes, they performed it sporadically during the Rock a Little -- a very messy tour when Stevie was at her worst. The band was great and played the song just fine. It was Stevie who kept f*cking it up -- forgetting lyrics and missing cues -- typical of many songs performed on that tour. The song is not rocket science! These days she could perform the song well if she wanted to. After all, it's her "favorite song!" So how does she feel twenty-something years from then?

I agree and never really considered that she could indeed do it these days if she tried. I just took her word in saying it "we tried it and it didn't work". Just goes to show you can't believe everything the lady says lol.
It's also possible that she's embarrassed about those performances and doesn't want to re-live the experience.

She actually preformed it more than sporadically - she did it at every stop of the RAL tour. IMO, it was one of the show's highlights!

ICW as a replacement for Fall From Grace would be stellar... or I guess she could do both!!

I really hope Stevie adds some more mainstream dates, because I can't do these casino dates- they are too far away.

Same here, especially in Kentucky

But if she doesn't then I guess I'm going back in debt.
