I've never heard "the story" about this being MK's track. Again, Stevie Nicks wrote the music & lyrics. She even quotes herself in Enchanted.
Okay, it's final.

Yeah, it's not terrible. But I definitely wouldn't call it good either.
The answer is: all of the above. Like Marissa said, I was hoping for the rock to kick in after the pause, but all she did was fall flat.

Hey now, let's not drag Mr. Tom Petty into this.

don't you know that an opinion about stevie is only valid if it's not a negative one?
Can it be cured with Pepto Bismol?

the only antidote that works for me is to listen to tom petty, dixie chicks, rosanne cash, annie lennox, or, hell, even motley crue.

You can have the last one to yourself. And maybe the Chicks, too -- small doses are good enough for me!

Everybody: Dave Stewart shares first bit of song recorded with Stevie Nicks
As reported Stevie Nicks and Dave Stewart are working together on songs for a possible new album (with the help of violinist Ann Marie Calhoun and others) and they are very happy about how it all goes onwards (as Dave told his fans on Twitter). Today Dave shared a first snippet from a song written and performed with Stevie Nicks. Listen now to 38 seconds of a demo of “Everybody” by Dave Stewart and Stevie Nicks:

Dave Stewart writing with Stevie Nicks / Songbook TV Special with Colbie Caillat

What is Dave Stewart up to? Working on a new Eurythmics record? No! Silly question! Working on a new solo album? Yes!!! But according to his recent Twitter posts “veeeerrrry slllloooowlly”. Anything else?

He “wrote a great song with Stevie Nicks on Monday called “Everybody Loves You”" – it might end up on a new Stevie Nicks solo album, Stewart definitely sees that possibility. Anything else?

Dave Stewart is filming a TV special for the UK channel Sky Arts – a one hour (!) acoustic (!!) performance show focussing on his greatest hits and collaborations and the stories behind them.

He shared a photo of the “Songbook” show recording “with Colbie Caillait [website] who sang our song “Bullet Proof Vest”" with him and one with Judith Hill and Ann Marie Calhoun (Judith is amazing singer see her sing duet with Michael Jackson in “This Is It” [video]) performing.

So it sounds like it's a solo album. I really feel cheated by all that nonsense about getting their chemistry going on tour so they can record one last "kick a$$" mac album.

I don't think writing a batch of song with DS is necessarily being done at the exclusion of an FM project. I think Stevie is just doing what she has always done- writing poems, recording demos and stockpiling them for future projects. Some of 'em may end up on a solo album, some of 'em may end up on a FM album. And given the fact that Mick is on tour down under, it's not like Stevie is just going to wait patiently by the telephone (a corded princess phone, no doubt) waiting for it to ring. If the Twitterverse is to be believed, Mama has been busy cooking up a big batch of treats recently.

I want her to get out of the kitchen & into a 24 Hour Fitness!

She has valves in her heart that require exercise & she also seems to need a frequent mood bath.

I cleansed my palette with Nine Inch Nail's Ghosts I-IV after that demo. I literally didn't think I could go on with my day unless I jump-started my mind again somehow.

Did you bring Annie Lennox into this to be particularly b*tchy?

not intentionally, but in light of her song "legend in my living room," it does seem refreshingly pointed.
