Could they be worn as some type of hair accessory? Could they be worn as a bracelet?
Thank you, and to you as, well.

My sister & I each kept a ring, as well, and I've been wearing that, but for some reason, the pearls keep sticking in my craw. I look at them in the box, and I want to wear them, but I can't (well, I CAN, I just don't feel comfortable, lol), so I think I will be okay with altering them.

They are not a family heirloom, like something that belonged to great-great-grandma and keeps getting passed down or whatever - if so, I would never consider it. My dad just bought them for her on a whim for Christmas a couple of years ago.

Had not thought of hair thing, will see what I can fiddle with that way. Tried bracelet already, but, they are not quite long enough to loop twice, unfortunately.

I've been searching online for you to try to come up with pieces that were Stevie-ish... I'm not sure how feasible a necklace with additional gems would be for you, but here are a few examples:

Pearl and Sapphire (I really love this one):

That is REALLY pretty. And simple enough that I wouldn't feel like a spaz wearing it. Thank you for that, and the condolences.

All the same, baby. All the same.
