Although Lindsey said they can't OPEN with The Chain, I think he obviously meant they're not doing The Chain since The Chain is about keeping the five together (even though they HAVE done it without Lindsey and even solo a few times). I mean, if they DO The Chain, what reason is there that they can't OPEN with it? I really think they might be doing away with this one, which is sad because it's such a rocker. Honestly, I can't believe they are choosing Beautiful Child as one of the "dark horses" to do live. I just thought the song was gone and forgotten. I've never really gotten into this song, but it looks like I better start listening to it more! This news is just so reassuring that it won't be an alpha-Mac setlist.

WOOOOOO-HOOOOOO!!!!!!!

How funny, I was just reading this over at Nicksfix (the article is from MiamiHerald.com), not realizing that this is what this thread was about.

How awesome! I am so ready to hear Beautiful Child and all the other goodies they've pulled out of that full full trunk of theirs!

Let me tell ya, I was getting so bummed there for a while, with the whole fan club blah blah blah and the crap at Mick's Chat board (I haven't been there in like 2 weeks now by the way! LOL), but I come back here and I'm enjoying all of this more now, and we just keep getting better and better news every single day!! I'm so excited again!!!!!!!!!!!!! BRING ON THE SHOWS!!!!!!!!!

Agh! I must have missed that the first time I read it....I'm gonna be REALLY annoyed if they don't do The Chain...I don't care at all if they don't open with it...just want them to do it at some point during the evening! I HAVE to hear that bassline live!!! Since the first time it was performed live (1976/7?), has there ever been ANY Fleetwood Mac (of any form) concert in which it wasn't performed??? I highly doubt it...!

While I would gladly give up The Chain for "Walk a Thin Line" or Sara, I do think they should do it as it is sort of John's solo and his time to shine somewhat.

I think I would love to see the Chain exit the set list for another song like Save Me a Place or I Know I'm Not Wrong or Angel
or Sister of the Moon.
Can you tell I am in a Tusk frame of mind
