At fleetwoodmac.com.
The second half of the song is completely different....and better ! Reminds me of early 90's REM. Ali. |

Yeah, I like it. And you're right, it does have a hint of R.E.M. about it. Even lindseys voice actually.
It's a good driving song. And I still think it's a cool song to lead into Murrow. |

There's two people sitting at the soundboard. One is Lindsey. Who's the other?

I'm not positive Vianna but I'm guessing Ray Lindsey, Lindsey's guitar tech. In fact yeah for sure - cause they were assessing the guitar track for that song at the board.
Oh Man!! This song is great! I'm so dumb - for some reason I expected it to be exactly like the snippet, just repeated pretty much!!! Not quite!! But I can't seem to get it to save as an mp3. I think they've "fixed the glitch"...

I can't get "Whats the World" out of my head. What a terrific track - i think it's my favorite so far...
and what a great way to open the new record.. maybe the concert opener, too??? It should get everyone on their feet at the show.. excellent job Lindsey!!! (love the guitar solo - reminds me of the White Album) "i don't say what they want i don't do what they say.. so i'm on their list.. so i'm gone, I guess..." I LOVE IT!! :-) |

I really love it, too! This is a major screamalong! especially in the end! It seems to me that lindsey is becoming the king of the "bridges". This one is fantastic, too!But i still got the SYHA-clip on the pop-up window.... where did you all see the clip?

I like it, and yet it seems somewhat weak to me.
Which is weird really, since it has interesting lyrics, a mighty-catchy melody, and some great vocal harmonies... but overall, it comes off as insubstantial. Like it never really rises above the sum of its parts. To me at least.

![]() If it is Cavallo that makes me happy because I hadn't heard about his involvement post-Dance and was concerned that after the whole collaboration n GOS he'd just be out of the loop all of a sudden. Johnny Stew - I know what you mean about insubtantial - that assessment about "bland opener" isn't too far off - but it's sort of 'fun', if you know what I mean ![]()

I really like this one as an opener. It's kinda mellow but at the same time upbeat. Much in the same vein as other classic openers "Monday Morning" and "Second Hand News." I'm not really happy with how it begins strangely with a downbeat (I would have just launched right into the opening line) but the song quickly picks up, and the bridge rocks!! This is the classic Mac sound I've been waiting for -- to me this song feels very much in the spirit of the Tusk album.
