This is true. She may get a line or two to sing solo if that's the case.

You might be right, but any broadcast air time for Stevie is great news, no matter if it is 15 sec, 30 sec. or a minute, it is still awesome news! Hoping for a whole song, but hey, this news definitely lifted my spirits today.

I couldn't care less if she performs Stand Back, i'm just glad Stevie is doing something so...cool!! This is truly amazing, being that Stevie normally hates these kinds of things; i'm glad she's getting herself out there and will show the younger artists how the Queen of Rock does it! This was completely unexpected!

This is outstanding news! But if "Landslide" is inappropriate, I guess "Crash" is completely out of the question!

Well, Dave Matthews is also scheduled to perform, so maybe Stevie will finally get her wish, and perform it with Dave.

Yeah, I was half expecting her to show up at the House of Blues performance, but I didn't even consider the Grammys a possibility.

If she is participating in the Haiti relief performance, then I hope she pulls out a rarity like Touched by an Angel.

If she's doing the MJ tribute, I personally would love to hear her sing You Are Not Alone. Using her upper register voice, this could be beautiful.

God help me if she sings Landslide, Stand Back, or Dreams.

I don't know why people care about what she sings. To be honest, most of the industry would be disappointed if she didn't sing a classic, just like they would be disappointed if Aretha Franklin didn't sing Respect. It's about a general audience, not hard core fans like us.

Why do I care about what she sings? I care because millions of other people will be watching this show and when they hear her sing a well known song such as Stand Back, the first thing that will come to their minds is, God, her voice has gone to hell.

I would prefer to have her sing a song that people aren't familiar with, or that her signature 70's/80's voice is not attached to, so I don't sit cringing on my couch.

But that's just my personal opinion. You don't have to agree or understand.

I swear I was thinking about you today. Wondering where you've been and how come you haven't posted in a while. Welcome back.

I understand where you are coming from, and feel the same way actually, i am just not expecting her to sing anything different if she does sing one of her own songs, because that's the way it's always been. She will most likely sing Landslide, due to the Haiti situation, but either way, i don't like to get my hopes up too high for something like this, because if she does sing Touched By An Angel or something completely out of left field, then that will be a complete surprise! Setting yourself up for disappointment is never a good idea, but i hope i'm wrong.
