Why do you like it?
I see more and more schools implementing it, so I wonder if my kids will encounter it one day. To me, 80-85 minutes in one class seems like an eternity. I remember barely wanting to focus on a teacher for 45 minutes. We did have longer classes like that three times a week, for a science, when you had a "lab" scheduled. So when it was your lab day, you just stayed in physics or whatever for the next period, too, and when it wasn't lab day, you had study hall. But lab days didn't seem like too much of a hassle, since when you had a lab, you were up out of your seat, doing experiments or something. Is it like that? I remember my sister saying she enjoyed her block scheduling, but I don't remember her reasoning.
