All of this is the complete opposite of what I disliked about the '06-'07 era... when it was nothing but name calling, popularity contests and cliques, and the board seemingly ceased to be about the music. I've got no interest in cliques or popularity... I'm just here to talk about the band. The reason I responded to this thread in the first place was because I felt it was the beginnings of this board heading back down the wrong path and becoming a divisive place again. I like this board. I like the people who are currently here. I like the current atmosphere. I like all of the varied viewpoints. I think creating "Ledgie of the Month" and stuff like that could quickly erode the good thing this board has going for it, and to shift the focus away from why we're all here in the first place. Anyway, I'll gladly do my part and bow out of this thread now .

I always speak truth; but often I wrap my truth in an allegory.

I miss Betsy too She's one of the most generous people I've ever been in touch with. I wish the silly nastiness hadn't driven her and others away.

this is starting to read like a wake. no doubt most, if they'd like to, can participate here or on another board.

I would like to submit the following two as "potential ledgies of the month."
I love this song...and sang it well into summer when I was a kid...worked quite well when I really wanted something bad from the 'rents.
