This wasn't on the radio, but I was watching YouTube clips of old General Hospital episodes from a Mt. Rushmore shoot and they use an instrumental version of "Caroline" through much of one of the scenes. I thought that was pretty cool. Of course, that was in 1987, so it makes sense!

Unfortunately for me, the closest to unusual is Sara, which was a single anyway. FM gets played quite a bit on my favourite radio station, 1377 3MP. It's an easy listening station. I adore two things about it: 1. It plays many FM songs and songs from the Roxy Music album Avalon. Any radio station that wants my attention has to at least succeed on both counts! 2. Every time the late night presenter plays songs, he recounts the artists and song titles before add breaks (roughly once every 20min). Every time he refers to FM, he always calls them "The Mighty Fleetwood Mac". I love it every time I hear that!!But, back on track, I can't remember ever hearing any other oddball FM songs on the radio, supermarkets etc.
