I wasnt single you out either. It was just a general comment to make some people aware that it HURTS when other fans insult you. I guess I want it all of you here to feel what I feel when some you insult other fans from that board.

If you have a complain with the way FC is running, as said in my other post, you should go to the right authorities and do so.

Its not like this my first post here, I've been a member of this board for two years now. As I said, my reaction comes because all I've been reading here in the past few weeks is insults to other fans.

The comments on this post by other fans are just the tip of the iceberg(is that how you say it. lol) I just couldnt kept quiet.

See, I've been a member of this board for awhile and when all this.... how should I call it? umm... Rivalry started it became not fun for me because I did not understood (and still dont) why the two boards couldnt co exist?

I was torn because this is (and still is) my favorite board but lately is all about insults and you know, I do not go online to see ANY of my fellow FM fans insulted. That just not fun.

Again, I can understand that some of you feel lied to by The Knight and I guess you could insult him but its obviously going to get you banned because he IS (even if you dont like him) the administrator of that board. You could instead stay there, chat with other fans and if you are not satisfied with what the FC has giving you, then go to the right authorities(like many of you are doing) to get your money back.

Just my two cents and now.............................................................

There is no rivalry between this board and "that board" or any other board. People over here are just wise enough to call it as they see it. I understand your point that you don't like seeing fellow fans insulted, but you posted and called people immature. That's insulting in itself. As for insulting the people on "that board," you can't say that the people over here are the only ones who say anything about fellow fans. "That board" is brimming with awful people who like to do nothing but attack people. 99.9% of the people on that bnoard are mean-spirited people who think they are all that and a bag of chips, but they aren't. All I'm saying is: don't point your finger at the people on this board, look at "that board" and it's posters, too. Why not try telling them that they too talk smack about other fans? Are you afraid you'll be banned? Let's be fair.

We all know now that Mick's board isn't so much a fan forum as it is a promotional forum for the band. This is the reason "negative" posts aren't allowed there, and why a million people were banned. Mick's board was NOT intended to be a discussion forum for fans-- it's just another marketing tool. But nobody over there will admit it-- they keep giving ridiculous excuses. They need to just clearly say in the "rules" section that "the purpose of this board is to promote the band Fleetwood Mac & any silly money making schemes that their staff come up with, and any remotely 'negative' post will be removed."

Granted, we should have known this from the beginning since it's an "official" site and all, but it was never posted, and I doubt it was ever admitted. They caused the problems themselves by refusing to be up front with everyone.

When things went wrong, particularly with the first sale, it was not allowed to be discussed, lest other people realize there were defects with the system. There are still problems. I saw plenty of posts pulled that did not have foul language, personal attacks, etc. It just never made any sense. It is not an open discussion board. It's not even set up in a coherant way to promote discussion.

It's a marketing "plan." And people there are supposed to be focusing on how wonderful everything is.

btw, I totally miss your moving pictures. They were the only things that made sense some days.

Mick's board is indeed a marketing tool for himself and to a degree Fleetwood Mac. My initial pleasure evaporated as soon as I found that posts were being deleted due to any hint of doubting Mr. Fleetwood or related topics. At that point the site ceased being a discussion site and became a praise site.

This has snowballed in the previous months until anything remotely questioning has been deleted. Censorship in a strong form indeed. If you visit the board (who knows if I'm still a member) you will see I have never posted there. I also don't see a rivalry between that site and this one, they are so different. I don't visit Mick's site anymore because I choose not to, and also because I will not stand for anybody altering or deleting a post that may provide a stimulating discussion without due cause.

As for any immaturity from me, well, you better check all my previous posts because I don't recall ever descending to that level against any fan, ledgie or poster. I also don't recall joining in any debates or arguments directly over Mick's site apart from one comment I made on an earlier thread in reply to Carne Vaca. If however you want some "immaturity" and silliness from me check out my FM Big Brother thread from last year, thats full of it.

Gotta go, other things to do.

To answer you I'll to post this as my respond. I send to The Knight via email and posted it. Btw, I'm not afraid at all.
You know, if it happen to me I'll probably be asking for my money but would not do it insulting the guy. As I said if you're not satisfied, its your right to ask for your money back. I dont know if you'll get it back but you loose nothing in trying.

I’ll like to say my opinion on this matter:

First of all, I like to ask all of you in Adm. are you here because you’re a Fan or because is good business and you’re going to make money?

I’m asking this because it seems more and more like it’s all about money. At least that’s what it looks like. I had a teacher told me once that perceptions are very important in what you do in life. Sometimes even when you mean well and are trying to give a good service to people, if its perceive as illegal, scam, lying, etc., you’re going to have problems. Like the ones you’re having right now.

There’s no trust from the fans towards you because they perceive you as untrustworthy. Why?

1. You banned fans with no explanation.
2. Some fans can put a link of other websites and other fans cant.
3. You put a link of another website with no permission whatsoever from the owner of that website (SaraRhiannon).
4. You constantly answered the questions of only few fans and usually are the ones who do not criticize you.
5. The $60.00 – 80.00 fee to be in the fan club, which I paid but still think, is a lot of money to ask fans to pay. And the fact that I don’t see the results of paying this money on the FM website, does not help at all.

You know, my problem with you guys is that you don’t seem to be fans AND THAT IS A VERY BIG PROBLEM. Because you don’t get us, you can’t understand OUR PASSION for this band.

I didn’t write this because of the pre sale but rather because an accumulations of problems that does not seem to be resolve.

You got to decide what’s more important, The Fans or The Money. I’m not saying you should not make money but I do think you could think of us more than money.

How?

Well, yesterday I was talking to my sister about this and she ask me, Did the Fan Club Adm. Sent you a card or something that said you are in the Fan Club? I was embarrassed because I had to tell her that you did not. I know is a small thing but you should considered doing something like this.

The FM website should be a little better, I’m paid $60.00 and some fans didn’t and they’re seeing the same things I do. I don’t think this is fair for the members of the fan club. I don’t mind they see something but Jonathan you said the members would’ve more extended versions of those videos and I haven’t see any of them yet. If you’re going to tell me that you haven’t got the time, don’t even bother because that’s NOT a good excuse. You have to have the people you need for this kind of stuff , so you can have the members of the fan club happy.

Another thing you people should do is answer the most important questions that fans ask and even to the HARD TO PLEASE FANS. They’re fans too and I know some them have been insulting but most them haven’t.

Pre Sale

I was lucky to find seats for the Anaheim Show, after being about 10 seconds in TM. Few days earlier, I registered in TM and had my Credit Card info ready. When it came time to buy tickets, I just have to write the 3 numbers at the back of my cc and was done. Btw, I got Floor Section 103 Row 19 and I’m happy with them. But I’m shock that you have done nothing for the fans that could not get in. Yes you help some of them but the fact is they did not get a FAIR CHANCE. And btw, the apology was not well thought out. In other words it was LAME.

I’m glad there is an Official Website but I would appreciate that you consider us (fans) more that the business of it. Please respond to our question and problems concerning FM much faster, be more understanding and most of all be more communicative with us.
