Stevie has always smoked pot. There is an old demo of, I believe it's Mistress Of My Fate, where she says something like "Ok where's the weed? I need a joint, at least a little bit of a joint. Hey... so I'm a rock and roll hippie!" Pot is probably what degraded her vocal chords more than smoking, cocaine, and her old school Rhiannon exorcisms combined. It's tough on your throat and lungs! lol...maybe Stevie doesn't even know that clip was included in DR. If most of us are just realizing it now, what's the likelihood that she would have noticed what was in the sped up parts? Lindsey probably included it and just didn't tell her

I think what's in that picture is a pipe, but when you mention that, I do remember her using a vapor thing for her voice back in the day. It was a machine and she put her head over it and let the steam come up. It was almost like giving yourself a facial.

What I remember the most about that video clip was that she and Robin were using the vapor machine and Lindsey was across the room and he started walking over and she seemed really distracted by the fact that he was coming over in her direction. When he got there, he just said something like, "hey" when he passed them, but she seemed like she was on a spring. She could hardly inhale the vapor for looking at his approach.

No, not everyone does. But I'm not surprised that Stevie was still doing it as recently as the SYW. Also, if she does have some kind of degenerative joint disease, maybe the marijuana makes that feel better and is not just recreational any longer.

And no, I think she smokes because she s a rock star. After doing "hard drugs" for so many years, taking a hit out of a piece is like taking a tylenol.
