Question Poll: Next FM (5 members lineup) or Lindsey solo album?

Since we have been talking, and waiting for the GOS album, let me ask this. What would you prefer for a next album (just this 2 alternatives): A new mac album, this time with Christine, or a Lindsey solo album (kind of a GOS, but updated with just no-syw songs).

I would like the next one to be a Fleetwood Mac album; but not necessarily the "RUMOURS" lineup...I'd kinda like a NEW Fleetwood Mac lineup...like one with Lindsey & Bob Welch together...if Stevie wanted to be there, fine; Chris? Fine, but not mandatory.

unless you're talking about Bob and Lindsey forming a new band CALLED Fleetwood Mac, that would be impossible. I don't think Bob could go within 30 feet of Mick and John without attacking

A new Lindsey solo album, I'd say. The opportunity to hear his work as he'd like it to be. A 'new' Fleetwood Mac album should be next, but first of all Lindsey should take all his demos/finished/unifinished song and release them in some non-bootleg way. At least I feel like that, and I'm not the biggest Lindsey fan ever.

And no, I wouldn't want Christine back in the band... She's retired from that part of her life already.

Yes, but if the other members of the band invited Christine to make a new album a few years from now and told her there were no plans to tour this time out, I could see her doing the album. Heck, she's done it before...recorded "Time" but didn't tour. Pulled a Lindsey on that one...

I've learned never to rule anything out when it comes to Fleetwood Mac...did anyone think ten years ago that they would be touring with Stevie and Lindsey in 2003? I sure didn't!

Of the 2 options given, I voted for the Rumours lineup with Christine. If you couldn't get that, then a Lindsey solo album would be OK. Unfortunately, I don't think either of these options have a very good chance of happening.

But my dream Fleetwood Mac lineup would be:
1)Mick Fleetwood
2)John McVie
3)Christine McVie
4)Bob Welch
5)Either Peter Green or Lindsey Buckingham

I'm quite happy with Fleetwood Mac as it is right now personally.

Seeing old footage of them when Christine and Stevie weren't on stage and it was just the 3 lads jamming... Now that was cool. Hopefully there will be a lot of that this time... Stevie can spin around or something.

May the new power trio live on 4 life

Default lineup

Here's a lineup I'd like to see:

Lindsey
Stevie
Peter Green
Mick
John
and possibly Chris..

You know who else sounded good with Lindsey? Waddy and Carlos. That acoustic Gypsy they did at the AHI concert was awesome.

Exclamation A REALLY TOUGH QUESTION!

I want both! But I went with a new Lindsey solo because I've been hurtin' for that for such a long time!
