Yes, I did. That and their lovely harmonizing, on which their fame was mounted. I also like that that song came from The White Album and not the whatchamacallit.

Now, as for what other 2 songs they could've done, I can't say what would have been the best choices. But Big Love and Landslide duets were not proper.

Well, if were going to talk about harmonizing, how about The Chain? That song is more than a song, its a religion. That song is a rock and roll classic. That would have been incredible, especially if they did the extended rock version from the early days.

If Lindsey ever gets inducted I think he should do Twist of Fate, Try for the Sun, and Go Insane. (With Shut us Down as a close runner up)

Duh. You are right. The Chain is an obvious choice. I can't believe I was going around saying I couldn't think of anything else/

Now, we need a third one. But they have limited space to maneuver in. It's not like they can get their whole band up there (or is it). So, we have to do songs that can be performed in shoestring fashion. So, that's why I'm not considering GYOW.

I'm not suggesting Rhiannon or Dreams either and I am proud of them for not doing those songs. Actually, if they'd done a band version of Landslide somehow (not just Chris which we've had before, but get Mick and John in there too), I'd have been ok with it.

Lindsey - Second Hand News, Eyes of the World, Tusk, or Monday Morning
Stevie - Gypsy, Seven Wonders, Running Through the Garden, or Gold Dust
Christine - You Make Loving Fun, Isn't it Midnight, Everywhere, or Little Lies

These are at least the songs that I think best represent the band that aren't really the obvious choices, but would make great live versions.

Gypsy would work. As with Landslide, not just singer and guitar, not the acoustic they did in AHI (lovely though it was), but something that would include everyone. Very spare with just the 5 of them, no other players. And, heck, play the video in the background the way they are doing on the Unleashed tour. That would be great.

Assuming there was no room for a big drum kit, Storms with the cocktail set they're using now would also work. Lindsey and Christine on the chorus. Goose bumps.
