Say You Will = Buckingham Nicks II ??

After listening to several of the upcoming tracks from the new album, I find it interesting that the tracks have a very similar feel to "Buckingham Nicks". I know this is kind of a "duh" due to the personnel involved, but some coincidences peaked my interest.

1) The cover of the album IS Buckingham Nicks

2) "Buckingham Nicks" was released in 1973. 30 years later, we have "Buckingham Nicks II".

3) The new tunes seem to have that same textural feel that emcompassed "Buckingham Nicks". "Smile At You" could sit right next to either "Races Are Run" or "Long Distance Winner" and one could almost not tell that they were made 30 years apart.

Hopefully these coincidences will inspire FM to perform some BN tunes on the upcoming tour!! "Frozen Love", "Races Are Run" and "Crying in the Night" would be GREAT to hear live! Not to mention a REALLY good version of "Crystal" (Stevie lead, please??).

Well, cool to see this as a BN II, I mean I liked that group, but I love the mac band. I think I'll miss Christine anyway. She gave kind of a balance in the group that defines the "mac sound"

So when they said Lindsey was the architect of the mac sound.. is partially true. The real mac sound was created by the sum of the 5 guys.
