Question The Dance Tour

While The Ledge was down, I had a chance to check out the reviews of The Dance tour which was very interesting. It gives you the reviews and the stats of each venue. Now I know maybe how the new tour will go, what cities & venues that FM will book.

I was just wondering if anyone got sick on this tour. I know it was about five years ago, but things happen. You know, Stevie got very sick on the TISL tour. Was she healthy on The Dance tour? Was everyone else?

Which back-up singers were on this tour? Did Lori Nicks go?

Was the whole tour a sell out at every venue? Was it the top tour of the year?

As you can tell, I didn't go to any concert, but I saw The Dance on TV & that's how I got hooked on FM.

Alright, let's see how I can do with all of these:

I was just wondering if anyone got sick on this tour. I know it was about five years ago, but things happen. You know, Stevie got very sick on the TISL tour. Was she healthy on The Dance tour? Was everyone else?

To my knowledge, everyone was fine, Chris just cut things short because she was tired of the grind of the tour.

Which back-up singers were on this tour?

Brett Tuggle, Mindy Stein, and Sharon Celani are credited as doing so on the album, and I know for a fact the latter two did for the tour and I'd assume so for Brett as well.

Was the whole tour a sell out at every venue? Was it the top tour of the year?

Refer to this: http://fmlegacy.com/dancetour.html 97% sold out as a whole, and I believe it was the third highest grossing of the year if memory serves.

Hope that helped!
-Brian

Default Sickness...

I do think that either or both Stevie and Lindsey got sick for at least one or two shows on the Dance Tour. And if I'm not mistaken I think it was somewhere around the Northwest U.S.A.
or Canada.

It's from the song "In The Back Of My Mind" from the Behind The Mask album. It's a song penned by Billy Burnette and David Malloy. The line itself is actually sung by Christine and beautifully I must say... It's one of my all time fav Mac lyrics...it says a lot.

I'm having a flashback...wasn't Lindsey sick on the tour? If I am not mistaken, the Vancouver, BC concert had to be cancelled. I think he had bronchitis? Someone back me up on this, or am I nuts!? I could almost swear this happened.

Thanks, Joe! I have never listened to BTM. OW! Who threw that?

and, the can is back in the pantry, and the can opener is back in the drawer! I won't be the one to do it, but I'm sure the next one to pass through the kitchen will think about it!

I hope no one gets sick this time.
If it is in the winter, which it looks like it WILL be, I certainly hope they stick to the INDOOR venues, even here in the South. I remember Atlanta was almost cancelled because of the cold.

No wonder they get sick.

Default Cancelled concert

I believe that jmn3 is right. The Vancouver concert was cancelled, but I thought that it was Stevie who was sick, not Lindsey.

Yeah, I was there. It was Linds and they did say bronchitis. The only problem was that Stevie and Mick ended up in Vancouver and John, Linds and Chris never even left Seattle. So...

GypsyAngel
I was in Vancover also. My brother was working for customs at the time. He was the one to check them through. He told me none of them made it in to the country. He was very disapointed for me. Im still bummed out about that.
I don't think we ever did get a straight answer to why they never made it. I heard their jet never came in to Lindsey was sick to Stevie and members had a fight.
Hope that helps.
