My husband and I recently danced to "Songbird" as our last dance at our wedding. I know it's not a Stevie song, but I thought since FM used it to close their shows we could use it to close our wedding. It was nice!

I agree that "At Last" would be nice. Stevie songs are hard as there are not many wedding-y ones.

Aww, cute!

Yep, I agree - it's hard to find good Stevie songs that are all happy and let's-start-a-life-together... they're pretty much all about sadness/heartache.

"At Last" would be good though - I love Stevie's version! Powerful vocals!!

Me & my husband got married last June and we had "Leather and Lace" as our song. I would have loved to have had "Crystal" too, but it just didn't happen.

It's decided.

I do not care what my future husband says-- "Crystal" IS my wedding song, without a doubt.

Me too, me too!!!

"I turned around
And the water was closing all around
Like a glove
Like the love... that had finally, finally found me
Then I knew... in the crystalline knowledge of you"

^If that isn't perfectly suitable then I don't know what is!

Now that we're planning future weddings (lol)... would you use Buckingham Nicks version of the song or the version on the white album with FM?? I haven't decided that part yet.

White album version, for sure. Something about my wedding has to be white.

The part of Crystal that (still!) makes me tear up and cinched it for both of us:

How the faces of love have changed turning
the pages
And I have changed oh, but you...you remain
ageless

I already have my heart set on "Leather and Lace"

picking a song is easy.
finding a guy I actually want to spend the rest of my life with...not so much.

Since I'm kinda against the marital thing to begin with, any potential husband of mine will know better than to mess with the little decisions.... like wedding songs, kids names...
