Believe it or not I've never jumped up and down over "Talk to Me."
I'm hoping to someday go to E-bay and find the paper napkin Stevie wrote this song on. "That Made Me Stronger" was also a "What was she thinking?" moment for me.

Stevie didn't write Talk To Me. The paper napkin song is Edge of 17, at that time written as Age of 17.

I agree about That Made Me Stronger. It's ok but definitely on of the weakest tracks on Trouble In Shangri-La.

But answer me this: how did all of those tracks get onto TISL and "Space Needle" didn't, especially since Stevie's been quoted to say that she selected the final cut hoping to create an album focusing on pain within paradise? Ughhhh that still aggravates me. |

Everyday is the unwanted stepchild I've never stopped beating.
Anything with an extended guitar or drum solo. I'm just checking my watch while waiting for the singing to start. |

Lindsey: Not That Funny - More or less by default. I enjoy pretty much all of Lindsey's Fleetwood Mac material.
Christine: Sugar Daddy - Blah. A complete throwaway track. Stevie: The Second Time - Not only is this a completely uninspiring song, but Stevie's performance of it is completely uninspiring as well. It doesn't deserve to be associated with the name Fleetwood Mac. Matt |

Well, throw it my way, because I think it's the best thing she ever did. It's also the best piano-playing she ever did.

Besides being so strong musically, I really think it's also one of Christine's best lyrics. Her lyrics are often of the fairly predictable love song variety. But with this song she's composed an amusing little character sketch of a woman who isn't exactly a manipulator but who is longing to be one, if she can find a guy with enough funds to bother with. It's the ultimate female fantasy song.
