His father has proven to be a greedy f'kin PIG over and again.
Promoting his "new" record label at pressconferences relating to his son's death...

The jury made their decision and as they don't have to justify it, we don't actually know why they arrived at the conclusion they did. We have to respect it, we don't have to agree.

When it comes to the actual penalty, I can see why $22m is more attractive to the parents than seeing Jackson spend 50 years in San Quentin. Chandler (if he needed it) will have got much better support than many and as you say, is set up for life.

The $22 million was more attractive because they were whores - pure and simple. As for taking care of their kid that they alleged to cared so much about, his father was a successful dentist - so, I am sure there was insurance

In any event, the rumors are burning like wildfire on the net that Jordan Chandler is admitting he lied. Time will tell. But, if he is not, his parent sold him out and allowed a predator to remain on the loose. There's no two ways about that.

In any event, for those who want to read more on this case - here is a good starting point with references http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1993_ch...ichael_Jackson

Wow. If it's true, it's too bad this couldn't have come out a week ago.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

I've tried to ignore this thread, because even though I respect him and don't think he deserved to die so young, Micheal Jackson freaks me out. (I used to cry whenever he was on TV when I was like 3.) But this made me laugh. David, you stalker!!

U2 dedicated "Angel of Harlem" to MJ at their opening show in Barcelona last night - they mixed "Man in the Mirror" and "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" into it. I can't watch this yet 'cause I'm at work, but I just heard it mentioned on the radio, did a google search and found this vid:
