Those poor fans. I think many of them were expecting---were possibly led to believe---that they'd be in the front row with nary a finger lifted (except to reach for their wallets, of course).

The SXSW Music, Film and Interactive conference is going on right now. Our hometown version of the Grammys was last night, and I always take off work in the mornings during SXSW...except today - I gotta get tickets and I'm about to close my office door and put up a sign I made yesterday that says:

"PRIVACY, PLEASE!!

ON THURSDAY, MARCH 13TH, FROM 10:55 AM UNTIL APPROXIMATELY 11:15 AM – I WILL BE ONLINE - BUYING FLEETWOOD MAC “FAN CLUB MEMBERS ONLY” TICKETS (ALONG WITH ABOUT A MILLION OTHER PEOPLE). That was funny, Thats how I kinda felt last Wednesday myself...Except I wasnt setting my hopes up for front row because that seemed very unrealistic...But I am happy with my NON FAN CLUB purchased ticket!!!! Brian J.

You know, I had no illusions for the front row. I joined the Fan Club thinking I could get better seats before they went on sale to the public. When the venue had it's presale last week, I felt uneasy but unfortunately didn't purchase the 100 level tickets that came up on Ticketmaster. Today I got through right at 12:00 EST and all I've managed to bring up are 200 level seats. NOT what I expected after shelling out 60 bucks!!!

I didn't even buy them, I'm so discouraged.

Oh my g*d, I just got first section floor, row 13!!! I have tried for almost an hour & 1/2, only receiving opportunities in the 200 section.

Anyone who is trying for tickets at Continental in NJ, try right now!!
