RIAA Certifications

Just a quick question here about RIAA Certifications. I'm trying to get the most recent count for each album sold in the US (studio releases). I've listed what I've found below so if I've got anything wrong, let me know.

Fleetwood Mac (1975) - 5x Platinum
Rumours (1977) - 19x Platinum
Tusk (1979) - 2x Platinum
Mirage (1982) - 2x Platinum
Tango In The Night (1987) - 3x Platinum
Say You Will (2003) - Gold (858,000)

Say You Will did terribly in other words....

Although didn't Time only sell 35,000 copies. Maybe mine will be worth $$$ one day?

Not according to Mick - who said in the doc that "even if the CD sold only a few million copies" or something like that. I remember thinking "yea right." Note - I wish it had sold that well, but I thought it unlikely and I am not in the business.

The Dance was 1997
Say You Will was 2003

Greatest Hits - 8 million as of 2000
The Dance - 5 million as of 2000

Say You Will almost a million copies? That's a lot more than I expected. In 2003, after two megasellingalbums full of old work (Dance and Greatest hits), and after a long less recognizable period with alot of bandchanges: a band totally unhip by then, selling almost a million copies of basicly "a doublealbum on one disc".

Pfft. We are spoiled brats if we say that that was a total flop.
