Michael Aaron does Storms

Hi guys,

I'm sure most of you will have seen the EXCELLENT videos of Michael Aaron covering Storms and Sara that appeared on nickslive.blogspot.com (from youtube originally). I LOVE them, so interesting to hear a man sing them...

I have a few questions. Firstly - who is this guy and has he been around for a while?? These vids look far too polished to be done by an amateur.

and the obvious - where can I get recordings/mp3s of these???

I have to admit, like most Storms youtube covers I've heard, his version kinda fell flat for me. It's heads and tails above the others I've heard (it's actually got REAL production!), but I guess hearing others do this song just makes me appreciate Stevie's that much more. During that time period, she could really modulate her voice and make it wrap around and do some really neat, and complex things.

That said, this guy's version of Sara is totally giving me chills! The intro was especially wonderful. Nicely updated, and ethereal. I agree, it's kinda strange hearing a man do such quintessentially feminine songs... but perhaps it's just because these songs have been with me for so long, and are so ingrained in my psyche. I REALLY like what he did with the closing guitar riffs... the production style/sound of it really reminds me of Lindsey's Out Of The Cradle. Thanks for sharing... I always enjoy hearing a fresh take on Mac songs!
