Inside Info on RUMOURS CD/DVD Box Set

Well, I don't think I have mentioned this before, but my dad works as an Executive Editor here in Connecticut at one of the biggest newspapers in the state.

It seems as though everyone (including myself) is wondering when the RUMOURS CD/DVD Box Set will be released. Well, I was able to convince my dad to contact Fleetwood Mac band management and get an answer on this through his job.

He contacted Liz Rosenberg, the Fleetwood Mac Press Contact listed on all of the recent press releases... And here was her response:

it turned out there were some legal issues which caused a huge delay.. Naturally I wasn't told about the issue until after release went out.. ON the happy side, everything has been resolved and we are hoping for an early fall release ...

So there you have it!

Excellent.... Progress!! I figured it was something like this... Wonder what's on it that needed clearing?

Man, would it be that hard for them to include something like this in future press releases? instead of leading people on a wild goose chase. I wonder how many people have actually tried to find this to buy based on what they've read in the press.

Tell your dad to tell Ms. Rosenberg that either she gets that package on the shelf WELL before fall 2009 ... or the fans on the Internet will take matters into their own hands & start circulating early release copies of the material -- for FREE.

It's time we fans -- who get most of this junk before it's released somehow anyway -- start lighting fires under the asses of those slugs.

It's a lot harder to leak video than audio, isn't it?

Thank you for the info...been wondering what the heck is going on with it...fall's not too bad, although it's a shame they won't be able to 'capitalize' on the tour to promote it...
