Default Moment of Weakness

So I had a moment of weakness this afternoon and paid way too much money for second row Unleashed tickets in Milwaukee. I just don't have the personality type that can wait until a few days before a show to score good seats, nor do I have a job that allows me to check ticketmaster constantly for dropping tickets.

Now, I realize that it's people like me who allow artists, venues, and scalpers to charge such outrageous prices for concert tickets, but I just couldn't help it! I just couldn't reconcile sitting in the bleachers with the opportunity to be so close to the band.

Please tell me some of you have given in to your love of FM against your better judgement.

It's worth it right?

I agree, for 6th, 2nd, 1st.. whatever.
I paid for middle row section just because they didnt accept my peruvian credit card for premium seats neither TM nor ilovaaccess. Damn them!! but I got this seat at TM
if you read my review, you know i ended at the stage!! standing up the whole show.

and yes, whatever you have paid.. IT IS WORTH IT

Thanks for reassuring me everyone--I can't wait for the show! I saw them in Chicago in March, and my seats were pretty good, but after seeing everyone's great pics and vids from up close, I just knew I had to get seats in front--I mean, who knows if they will tour again after this. Good luck to those waiting out the ticket drop--you are stronger than I am

Well- the first time I tried the wait and see game, I landed 3rd row seats RIGHT in front of Stevie. I wholeheartedly object to the broker thing- top TM seats are high enough.

These broker sites you all have gone through- what are they? Just out of curiosity, I'd like to check them out.

I was very vocal about the All Access thing. Mainly because it's FM doing the screwing. So, I won't do that.

And while I don't think it's fair that brokers already have tickets out there before some shows have even gone on sale, I have bought broker tickets three times now.

Except for one weird situation for a Stevie concert (too far toward the water in Jones Beach and lots of very tall people in my way--I think that was 5th row), it was SO worth it.

This last time was for front row in Philly just a month ago. I had been working really, really hard (working as in job work--not just ticket search work) and, one day, I simply had enough of checking on their weird version of ticketmaster (they used a different service--even worse than TM). I went and got tickets on a broker site. I never looked back and didn't regret it at all. It saved me a lot of aggravation and every time I got annoyed at work--I told myself I was working for a cause! (The FM Retirement Fund and something to add to my memories when I'm sitting alone in a corner at The Home, singing Monday Morning at the top of my lungs while all the other inmates avoid me like the plague;-)

Well, I can definitely emphasize with your weakness. I guess if you can afford it without skipping a car payment or rent or whatever, and hell .. it is second row after all. Very good ticket grab!

ROCK OUT at the concert and enjoy yourself.
