In the 1976 entry, Stevie says, "We hired a business management firm."

What does she mean? Anyone know? I thought Fleetwood Mac was essentially self-managed at that time (Seedy Management was Mick Fleetwood & to a lesser extent John McVie) because of the situation with Clifford Davis.

She has said it before, said that she and Lindsey hired someone to invest their own personal money, not to assist in the management of FM. They hired someone to invest their FM earnings for them, to help grow the money.

Yeah, I've heard her say that many times. The "we" referring to she and Lindsey.

Here's one reason snippet from the 2007 article Stevie Nicks: a survivor's story - Telegraph.co.uk

Nicks and Buckingham were more careful, retaining an independent business management firm to handle their affairs when they joined Fleetwood Mac. 'So even though we spent a lot of money, a lot of it was invested.'

What was it invested in?

'I have no idea.'

Oh, ok. I thought she was talking about Fleetwood Mac.

Fleetwood Mac made a go of it by themselves, & in large part because of that, they hit their artistic & financial apex at that time. So it confused me to read that "we." I wasn't sure what the antecedent or the reference was.
