I just have to say that in all the pics of her that I've seen over the years I've never seen the look on her face she has in that shot with Joe Walsh. Wonder where that photo has been all these years?

In the 1976 entry, Stevie says, "We hired a business management firm."

What does she mean? Anyone know? I thought Fleetwood Mac was essentially self-managed at that time (Seedy Management was Mick Fleetwood & to a lesser extent John McVie) because of the situation with Clifford Davis.

She has said it before, said that she and Lindsey hired someone to invest their own personal money, not to assist in the management of FM. They hired someone to invest their FM earnings for them, to help grow the money.

Yeah, I've heard her say that many times. The "we" referring to she and Lindsey.

Here's one reason snippet from the 2007 article Stevie Nicks: a survivor's story - Telegraph.co.uk

Nicks and Buckingham were more careful, retaining an independent business management firm to handle their affairs when they joined Fleetwood Mac. 'So even though we spent a lot of money, a lot of it was invested.'

What was it invested in?

'I have no idea.'

Oh, ok. I thought she was talking about Fleetwood Mac.

Fleetwood Mac made a go of it by themselves, & in large part because of that, they hit their artistic & financial apex at that time. So it confused me to read that "we." I wasn't sure what the antecedent or the reference was.

Priceless! It's also very clear she's looking at someone else not Walsh.

Most of those pictures I've seen before but I agree the Joe one is different. It looks like it could be early RAL or should I say Mirror,Mirror LP?(Yr: 84?) I like the blue outfit she's wearing. It is very different I do agree.

My husband picked this up for me today (unexpectedly...aw) and I have to say that the photo with Joe Walsh is absolutely lovely. She looks stunning.

The whole picture is rather odd looking. The one other picture I've seen of Stevie and Joe, they both look a little different - he looks a bit younger here than in the '83-'85 time period and didn't she have a perm most of that time??

Eh. Strange. But, I love her dress too.

Maybe Stevie photoshopped it. She doesn't like computers generally, but she made an exception, learned Photoshop and created a whole passel of pictures with Joe looking at her lovingly while she smiled knowingly, eyes transfixed elsewhere. She's got a batch with Tom doing that too.

Stevie and photoshop, that's a great thought... I know she's a technophobe but she does love her digital camera!
