Lightbulb The Most "Aware" FM Album?

Looking @ these songs, it seems that FM is going in a different direction than just writing love songs. I mean, look @ how many songs on this album seem to be about our country and politics?

"What's The World Coming To"
Seems like it's a song about politics/Lindsey's feelings on the state of mankind etc. I mean this could be a song about 9/11.

"Murrow"
Song about Edward Murrow - journalist. A political song

"Ilume"
Stevie said she wrote this song our of inspiration of 9/11

"Peacekeeper"
Another song that has strong war/political influence throught the lyrics.

Well, these are 4, what other do you think could be about 9/11. war/peace and politics?

These fresh topics are really getting my hyped for this new album.

Adios

Well, if Goodbye Baby is The Tower demo, then I contend that song is about Rhiahnnon. Also, Running Through the Garden and Smile at You seemingly are love songs, or at least love to hate you kind of songs

Bluegrass, you're probably right.

I don't know enough about "What's the World Coming to?" or "Ilume" to comment on them, but I think most of us are coming to agreement that "Murrow" and "Peacekeeper" are certainly political--and even politically charged.

Even if it's 2 out of 18 songs, I'm guessing that beats any other FM album for political content.

Oops, I may get creamed for making that comment, as I don't have the time to go back and review all the discographies.

But I'll take the chance.

Regardless of the fact that these two are (blatantly!) politically charged, there is something very refreshing about hearing a Fleetwood Mac song which is not based on the theme of love/relationships.
