Default Maybe already asked but.. when is the new CD-DVD released?

no date announced for the new Rumours CD-DVD, is there? Now that the tour has started, I thought it will be immediately followeb by this. Not that I'm desperate for get it, but curious of what contains (the long waited old concert video?)

You know what? I don't think we've gotten an official release date yet. I was thinking the same thing the other day - if this tour is to promote it, they had better get it out soon.

I read something the other day - one of the interviews which had mostly rehash of Q&A stuff from that first initial conference call with all the reporters - but the interviewer or writer of the article mentioned a May release... so whether he's got some knowledge that just hasn't been put out there yet, I don't know... And if he doesn't, why pick May?

^ May? Jesus. Talk about another missed opportunity for this band. Aren't most of the shows done at that point? I mean, I know there's been rumours of a second bunch of shows, but there's no confirmation yet.

If they were smart (JMO of course) they would have had this ready to go & sell at the shows. They could have made a mint.

Maybe it's part of their new strategy- tour/album instead of album/tour?

^ Yeah, that's smart. "Let's do a bunch of shows & get people excited to see us again. But we'll wait a few months for the thrill to die down before releasing the album/DVD."

This is 2009, perhaps 30 yrs ago , this may have been true.
Honeslty, F that crap now! There's alway s a a bigger band on the block! Same goes for STEVIE who thinks SoundSTage will be interesting this month -----6 months in the waiting.

YAWN.

That is one of the most negative things I have heard in a long time. What makes you think this?

I'm excited about this tour but I agree their decisions are not the best. I agree they are not that good anymore in terms of decisions, voices, new songs, etc. That doesn't mean they are bad now, i think it's logical for every artist with years (30!) of work, you can't ask for originality, or the same energy. But I hope the show will be great anymore, realizing that we can expect.. for example, to watch Stevie singing Rhiannon like she did in the 1976 tour.

I personally think that they are just doing this tour then release the album on May - and then do a summer leg of the same tour

Now that would make more sense

And after that they'll probably go work on their last album - because really I think this could be the last one then there will probably be some farewell tour in the next year or so...

Stevie even said the world deserves at least one more kickass fm album.

The Fleetwood Mac marketing credo: We don't need to sell anymore stinkin' records.
