Yikes. I would think the Friday show would sell better. I guess there are just too many other fun things to do in Chi-town on a Friday night.

Back when I worked in certain venues, they used to come around sometimes with literally hundreds of tickets for the staff to pass out when the show didn't sell very well. The theory (and Luke could probably expand on this more) was to get people in the seats and they would spend their money on food, booze, merch, etc. so that there would be profits recognized in antoher way than through traditional ticket sales.
I was going through my scrapbook a few weeks ago and found tickets to the last rock and roll show at McNichols Arena (now long gone) here in Denver featuring ZZ Top and I had no less than eight tickets that were given to me for my own personal use when the show started. I don't even recall how many I gave away. My friends and acquaintances loved me for that though. They got to see a lot of shows gratis. So did I for that matter, when I wasn't working the show.

I think they are sounding really good. I knew Lindsey was sounding better than he has for a few years on the GOS and he's not changed in the few months since then. Stevie is sounding great as well.

I loved that clip SYLM. Stevie sounded better than I think I've heard her in years. There actually seemed to be some nuance in her singing which is often missing. Before I saw any of these clips I didn't mind if they didn't do a UK tour since I saw Lindsey but seeing that I just hope they come here...

The entire SYW costume was hideous. Firstly, it was ugly and the skirt was poofy and looked like 7 little dawrves could live under it. Plus, the fact that she had to wear those huge platform MBT boots (or whatever they were) which were also black just made her look like some kind of caricature of herself. too much black is just a little too harsh for her. She has pale skin and brown eyes and colors like reds, pinks, creams, gold, etc. just make her features pop. She looks really beautiful with a little more "glimmer."

I totally agree...I wish she'd keep on the burgundy dress for the entire show.
