I was unaware that so many people disliked Bombay Sapphires. I have always thought it was one of the strongest songs on the album.

My favorite version is the alternate... I wish they had released that one instead. I love how the alt version builds up to "But that's my dream... so it seems... still see dreams... when there are none!"

And I am sad that Candlebright got voted off already. I love that Stevie revived old Buckingham Nicks songs and POTU for TISL... love the Nomad demo... it's so spooky!

Dont get me wrong, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the alternate take with cooler less cheesy music and no macy gray and cool extra lyrics.

I voted off 'Bombay Sapphires' too, but overall I like all of them- but some are stronger than others. I'm not wild about the gimicky choice of picking Macy Gray (who?), who proved to be a one-hit wonder. Just like I wasn't wild about the David Crosby guest vocal on 'Street Angel'. Those choices seem like stunt casting.
By the way, I decided to tape a video commentary about the song 'Trouble In Shangri La' on my blog, and I think it was 2 weeks ago that I sat and spoke about the song 'Love Is'. Both songs I think are great bookends to that album.
