Who is this schmuck? Sorry but relegating Stevie to a footnote is sour grapes.

Meh, I had her relegated to that a long time ago

No sour grapes. It's funny and 100% deserved by the other two songwriters to be put in the spotlight for once. The witch had her share. The other two were blatantly (pun intended) underrated.

Don't get me wrong, those days were Stevie Nicks hightimes, and without her, the Mac would never had done so well, but sometimes it's good to look at things from another perspective by polarizing the balance. This dude's a master at it.

Thanks for posting. I laughed my *ss off.

I don't think his analysis of "Sugar Daddy" is correct at all, and "Oh Daddy" is not filler. He sounds like a real obnoxious a-hole.

I didn't like that he called Songbird "syrupy" either. I think it's a beautiful song that came from the heart.

You're right, it is nice to let Lindsey and Christine in the spotlight, but that doesn't give him any right to say that either one is better than the other! They are all great musicians, and they balance each other out. Fleetwood Mac just wouldn't be Fleetwood Mac if one of them had quit in the earlier days. (Chris, come back please!?)

And if he thinks Stevie is a sucky songwriter, then clearly he has heard any of her stuff. :/

Yeah, his reading of Sugar Daddy is oddly off point. The lyrics he cites are actually MORE subversive than he assumes, insofar as it's a woman's work fantasy, to escape the drudgery with a little help--but without putting out in return. That sugar daddy can spoil her with goodies and cash if he so chooses (the voice of this song KNOWS she's worth it!) but he'll never get her on her back...

I don't see the point in bashing another artist for any reason.

Christine is an amazing singer/songwriter/musician, no proof needed, she did all the work to prove it herself.

It totally negates everything said about Christine by bashing Stevie, honestly I wouldn't have even noticed she was missing from the review.

Not too unlike the way Christine's songs were dismissed by Ledgies in the Tusk Face Off.
