We’ve made our share of mistakes, and there are times when our actions around the world have not lived up to our best intentions" Why not just be from a great country without a disclaimer? Can anyone recall another time when an American who is not president has gone overseas and asked another country for its troops? It's clear he has a degree of disdain for our country.
Do you honestly think America is above reproach?

Do you think America is perfect?

Do you think America has no superiority complex?

Do you really think most politicians who visit Germany do not refer to WWII?

Do you not get that Germany and Europe are our allies and W screwed them over with the whole Iraq fiasco and they are more than a little pissed about it?

Finally, did you not read the next few sentences or the preceding paragraphs wherein he praises America for coming to the aid of Germany even though a few months before Germany was trying to kill us?

I mean come on, you have said some crazy things before, but this likely takes the cake

Of course and as an aside, W has a special connection to Nazi Germany as his GrandPappy Prescott Sheldon Bush collaborated with the Nazis before war broke out and through the year after Pearl Harbor ( http://www.commondreams.org/headlines04/0925-01.htm ) They made lots of money that way. Who hated America then, much less the poor Jews?

I thought you did not believe in polls?

But and to answer your "hardly 'beloved"" comment, I said he is "beloved here," which he is and by many. I never said it was some vast majority

As for who will win, speculating now is pissing in the wind as far as I am concerned.
