does anyone else think vanessa resembles stevie?~
now before i get flogged i don't mean so much so she could play stevie in a movie or anything, i just mean, they both have the long oval faces, long noses & brown eyes tho stevie's eyes are bigger & more doe like~ & the long hair & general sweetness~

Yeah..I was wondering that too. Maybe it will be in the dvd, I don't know. Maybe time just didn't allow for it. It looked like she took a walk somewhere, so I'm thinking they just cut it out for the tv broadcast. It's too bad, 'cause I love that part too. I can't wait to get the dvd. It really sucked that they delayed it's release.

They only delayed the release because they sold out of the DVD's WOOHOO Rock on Stevie!!!

Maybe you'll still be on the DVD, which is something you can savour forever! Congrats on being AT the show. Is there anything you can say about the whole show for those that are seeing it only on video? Were there a lot of interruptions by directors, etc?

I was disappointed they didn't show the edge. I think they should have kept it
in (I'm sure on the DVD you will be able to see it) to show how Stevie interacts
with the audience. Not many artist's shake the fans hands. They should have
kept it in. Didn't like Circle dance with Vanessa I love the way Stevie does
it solo....

Yes, there were a lot of breaks for makeup, etc. She was really funny. I would have loved to see Beauty & the Beast but I guess we have to wait for the dvd. Rhiannon was phenominal. The only thing that bothered me about the PBS version was no Edge walk and the editing did not capture the intensity of some of the songs. To me it was distracting and didn't enhance the performance. Oh, the other thing is the place looks HUGE on tv but it was really small.

This gets me to wondering how Crash would have been with Dave Matthews. How their voices would have sounded together, what kind of intensity and/or playfulness they would bring to the song and how would Stevie and Dave have split up the lyrics between them.

I say she looks ALOT like my niece Kendra (aka "Nimrod" - at age 15 she is 5'-10", frikkin' AMAZON gene in that girl), Who is an exact clone of me ("Isnt that weird?") down to the oval face, long nose, 'Cherokee' cheek bones, green eyes ('Nimrod's' eyes are a lighter green shade and with lighter sandy colored hair) and the extra longed sized fingers (Thus why she is a violinist - though she originally thought to try out the piano)

Absolutely adored Circle Dance. I'd never heard it before and I LOOOOVE it. It actually inspired me to write a song.

ANYWAY, I loved it and I love Stevie.

And yes, Stevie and Vanessa look similar. Stevie's prettier though.

I hope that on the DVD, they kept in some Stevie humor or interacting with the band etc... I too am disappointed in no Edge walk for the tv airing but do hope they kept it in for the DVD. If not, that is really disappointing. I guess I can see why they took it out for tv because it can be quite long and they don't want the audience sitting there on the couch just watching Stevie shaking hands (we would of course but general public, no).

Does anyone know if they are including "Beauty and the Beast" on the DVD? I don't think it's on the DVD song listing, but she clearly sang it because in the credits she's wearing the costume she always wears for it. I hope they include the Edge Walk too... it's kind of a staple to her performance
