Could someone please send me copies of
The Dance Versions of "Gypsy", "Over My Head", "Songbird", "Second Hand News" and "Little Lies". I am trying to complete my collection of Songs from The Dance Album / Tour

It wasn't played in Memphis, TN, which is the concert I saw. They played "Big Love" and "Everywhere" from Tango in the Night, but they didn't play "Little Lies." Maybe they had a different set in different cities, but I doubt it.

On that same page, I'm looking for a copy of the Memphis, TN Dance Concert. If anyone has one, I'm willing to trade for it or send you blank cds and shipping, etc. Just email me at [email protected]. I would really, really appreciate it.

Speaking of Dance songs:
does anyone have a good version of Stand Back from any of the Dance shows? I thought it was good when I saw their show in Tacoma but then I downloaded 2 live versions from AG or Kazaa and they sucked! The worst live Stand Backs I ever heard-very disappointing. Stevie sounded sooo flat and the music was off, too. Just curious....

Ask NodMod, to post them up on his website.

Hey I'm nodmod (or I was last time I looked), send me a PM and I should be able to rip the Stand Back performance from the Tacoma Show, and send it to you, I have this on CDR somewhere.

As far as I recall, "Little Lies" wasn't played during the Dance tour at all. I read somewhere that they'd attempted it a couple of times during the initial rehearsals, but were unhappy with the results and dropped it.

That's a shame, I was hoping someone was gonna reply "Yes, they actually performed it once in .......". Hopefully we'll hear it this time round...!!

Exclamation ...which reminds me...

...that Christine is no longer there in the keyboards...

I doubt they will perform this song (or any of Christine's songs, for that matter) ever again.

Who should sing it anyway? By the way another question: Was Hold me ever performed live? As I regard it as a great single I consider this one as hard to perform on a live show... Similar to Little lies...

I have Hold Me from the Shine Angel CD, which I believe is Oakland 1982. Before I heard it I wondered how they could manage the chorus because on the record the vocals are so layered. But I love this live version of it! It sounds to me like they're having so much fun! Christine's piano just shines through it. Stevie seems to be trying to outsing Lindsey and Christine at the end of it though, or maybe that's more about the levels of the recording, I don't know.

But all in all it's a really fun version!
