Default Chicago Pictures

Quick recap: no Edgewalk because the stage was too far away, and barricaded, unlike last year when it wasn't at the same venue. Setlist was the same. Funniest part was Stevie trying to convince us that Chicago is her favorite city, after all she spent 6 weeks here in February and she still loves it! Anyway a link to my not so hot pictures:

http://picasaweb.google.com/ErinE.Br...Chicago6142008

Security was fine with us taking pictures, but went out of their way to try and make everybody stay in their seats until they were overrun for the non-existent Edgewalk. We all ran up to the barrier anyway.

Yes, Monterrey Security sucked. They were decent as far as photos and I think they realized there was nothing they could do anyway. Too many had cameras etc for them to possibly enforce it. There was NO Edge walk because of a barrier fence about 4 feet off the stage. Not like last year and why, I dont know.

Anyway, awesome weather. I sat 4th row dead center right in back of Mike S from Enchanted. Stevie look mondo fab as usual and stated that she spent 6 weeks here in Feb 2008 and not even our weather could keep her from not loving the Chicago. She said its her favorite city (" I really mean that.") Anyone know anything about this visit? Was it for Soundstage production. I heard she stayed in Sugar Grove for that time?

Typical SOS (same old setlist). Crash was decent, although I don't like the song. Bob Segers " song is a great song from his recent album and mentions a whole bunch of states in it (sorta a traveling roadshow of a song).

Why cant Stevie say Keyboards???

Cool More Chicago Pictures

Hi everyone...

I've been around here for a while but have never posted. I have photos from last night and a little video I would like to share but I don't know the best way to share them on here. Any suggestions?

Great show last night...as mentioned previous posts, for Stand Back she wore the beautiful old red shawl from the '83 Solid Gold performance (and Goodbye Baby on the '04 SYW Tour) which was a nice change. If Anyone Falls and How Still My Love were noticeably better than any recent performance I've seen...including Soundstage. The two big disapointments of the night for me...Fall From Grace being dropped and the stupid barricade in front of the stage. They also had Stevie like 10-15 feet back from the front of the stage which was kinda strange. The Bob Seger song was great...and Stevie was obviously loving it and having a great time. Still not digging Crash...needs to go the way of the dodo.

Hope you guys like the footage. I experimented with different modes on the camera in the beginning...but once I saw flashes popping I turned mine on and got some better shots.

Tim

Hey, Stevie's red shawl has already paid for itself many times over.

I love the one where it seems to be in movement behind her.

No, photobucket doesn't take video. I'm glad you got some good material, once the way was cleared to use your flash.

Ok, I added some of the better shots I got but there are more if anyone wants to see them. Or if you would like the full size version let me know because Photobucket made them smaller. The video footage I took came out really good but the files are large due to the quality. I will try to find a way to make them smaller.

When you go to your photobucket, select the little box of each photo you want to share, or scroll down to the bottom of the page and select the little box that says "select all". at that point click on the blue bar that says "Generate HTML and IMG code". From there it will take you to a page, and I believe the 3rd set of codes available are the ones you copy to your post here... Does that help?

If you follow Macman's directions, you'll get "thumbnails" and even though the photos will look small, when we click on them, they will be big again and you will not have lost any of your resolution.

What I meant was that the pictures were like 3648 x 2736 and Photobucket made them 800 x 600 at full size. Thanks for the help guys!

Really great shots! They've been lacking this tour, so thanks for posting. And I think probably the only way around the resizing of the pics is to use imageshack. Her twirling as slowed down considerably this year.. and I like the Bob Seger cover the more I hear it.
