Yes, 52, too young. He was a big part of the soundtrack of my life - teen years. RIP Kevin.

I was in 7th grade when Mental Health came out. Great record ~ I had that thing in my walkman till I wore it out. It always brings a smile to my face when I hear it! Kevin was a big influence on metal and he will be missed. XM Bone Yard had a nice segment dedicated to Kevin last night. Very moving. 52 is just too damn young. May he RIP and you know he's totally jamming with Randy Rhoads!!!

I saw Quiet Riot in their heyday - at The Palace in LA.

I saw them again in spring of 2006 - they played a private party sponsored by a local radio station - the Hair Ball. I took some great pics of Kevin onstage - and pics w/ the whole band after the show. Nice guys...this is really such a shame.

It really is. I never saw them in concert. Saw every other metal band in that time period. Wish I could have made it out to Rocklahoma. So sad. I wonder what happened to him?

The band members seem so shocked - I'm guessing it's not drug-related, but something like a heart attack.
