But...but...Rumours...and Tusk...and the white album...Tango in the Night...and even Mirage to a certain degree were all "mainstream" albums. And the music was good. Fleetwood Mac IS a mainstream band. I would say so, anyway. I'm agreeing with you in the sense that they shouldnt change their sound, or write "singles" just to sell records...but Fleetwood Mac has done that regardless.
