Wasn't there a death near the band around this time? I think that is why Stevie seems so down.

Don't they look like loads of fun to hang around with? My god, they seem so morose....with a heavy dark cloud around them. Stevie, in particular (as with this whole period of time), sort of had a kolonopin-like haze around her, with some pretty vacant stares. Notice how submissive and quiet she is, and how little interaction the band members had with each other? No light banter between them at all. They are each, to some degree, in their own little world. Stevie occupies a universe. It's truely amazing that they can still get together every so (not) often, i.e. to record some music and tour. Any fraction of chemistry or camaraderie they had in past times seems completely gone here. I wish they could have been a little more...joyful?

Indeed. Although I doubt Stevie's grief was projected in that clip. She seemed very (I've said this 20 times) BLAH during that whole tour and most of her performances in 2003/2004.

I noticed the same thing immediately!!!!!! But...she was just trying to resist with stoicism...she was secretly feeling the heat building.
