I think he'll add another date or two. The 02 is the last date on his tour so after that he's got space.

This song rocks. I wasn't crazy over the Seeger Sessions. He suffered really bad sales last year, but not in Europe.

So where would the LA date be? Staples Center. For some reason I think he's playing Nokia LA.

I think you’re right John – there will be more dates. This seems like the approach they took to ‘The Rising’ tour where he quickly went around the world before Christmas and then had a major stadium tour after it. The E-Street Band is too lucrative to Sony and the group themselves to just do 30 dates. I’m an O2 customer, so like others who are we got to buy our London tickets the day before the general sale and at £57 a time it was cheaper than the Seeger shows.

I think the tour will be great and I can’t wait, but I do tend to like my Springsteen solo and acoustic these days. As Sharon started a link on Dylan a week or two back, another favourite of mine, I thought I’d post something that combines them both. So here is Highway 61 done by Bruce and two people he invited from the audience – Jackson Browne (verse 1) and Bonnie Raitt (verse 3). They make a decent job of it.

I might really consider seeing him. All I hope is that he does "New York Serenade" live. I love that damn song.

I haven't ever seen him do NYC Serenade live.

Actually he did it I think at the Meadowlands in 2000? Anybody go?

Just got the info on why Los Angeles is still venue TBA. Apparently, the Forum is a IATSE union stagehand house, and they've been on strike for a while. While Bruce would strongly prefer the Forum (he hates Staples- he opened the venue with the first shows there on the original E Street '99 reunion tour, and by the end of the run of shows, he was openly and blatantly trashing it in monologues on stage), its still, for now, TBA.

He'll probably end up playing Staples, as Anaheim is booked that day and the new Nokia venue is too small. I don't think Landau wants to have to deal with spin control regarding a scenario where the champion for the blue collar people is crossing the picket line for a million dollar rock show.

I'm still gutted. I didn't know about the 02 presale until it was too late.
People on the Backstreet boards keep finding tickets, but I've been trying for over a day now and no luck

It really sucks because I live really near the O2 arena too. I can't believe Bruce will be playing there and I won't be going.
